Somerville Songwriter Sessions at the Armory Cafe presents a concert on Saturday February 1 with singer/songwriters Beth DeSombre, Joanne Lurgio, and Sean Ryder. The concert will feature a solo set by each artist, followed by a round robin song swap. The show begins at 7:30 pm with an open mic, and admission is $10. I'm honored to host the longest-running annual Dave Carter song circle -- we've been going since 2002, singing his songs at the Falcon Ridge folk festival. We'll begin at about midnight or whenever the Saturday mainstage ends -- at the GFP site, which is in the back corner of the 10-acre campsite. Come to play a song or just sing or listen.
